Family tree poster examples

Nine renders from the three templates, in the sizes they are printed in, and the sixteen Heritage Oak tree variants.

Each poster below comes from the same renderer that writes the print file, using test families with made-up names. After your upload, the live preview works the same way: the layout fills the sheet, long names are shortened by fixed rules rather than squeezed, empty branches are left out, and a drawn branch connects every person to their parents.

Preview renders at screen resolution. The print file has 300 dpi; unframed posters are printed on 250gsm museum paper, framed ones on 200 gsm matte paper.

Heritage Oak

Heritage Fan

180° fan chart in soft ombré palettes (navy & gold, sage & cream, mauve, earth & amber), colour-coded by family branch. From across the room it looks like a graphic print.

Made for: Genealogy and long lines: the result of your family research, for a study or hallway, as a gift for the family historian.
Shows: Direct ancestors only, each line in its own colour. Looks best when many generations are known.
