Right of Withdrawal

No right of withdrawal for custom-made posters

Family tree posters are made to your individual specification: you choose the people shown, the number of generations, the template, the size and the frame. They are goods that are not prefabricated and whose production is determined by your personal choice.

Therefore no right of withdrawal exists (Section 312g(2) no. 1 of the German Civil Code, BGB). We point this out before you place your order, and you confirm this notice at checkout.

Your statutory warranty rights are not affected.

Exception gift vouchers: as a consumer you may withdraw from the purchase of a gift voucher within 14 days of the contract without giving reasons (details in section 15 of the Terms). A clear statement by e-mail to hallo@rootsonprint.com is sufficient. You may use the following model withdrawal form, but you do not have to:

Transport damage and print defects

Statutory warranty rights apply. If your poster arrives damaged or with print defects, please send photos of the poster and its packaging to hallo@rootsonprint.com. We will then reprint it free of charge and send it to you. If the reprint fails or we refuse it, you may withdraw from the contract or reduce the price in accordance with the statutory provisions; further statutory rights remain unaffected. Please keep the packaging until we have got back to you. Letting us know within 14 days helps us settle the case with the carrier, but it is not a condition for your rights.

Kein Widerrufsrecht bei individuell angefertigten Postern

Stammbaum-Poster werden nach deinen Vorgaben individuell angefertigt: Die abgebildeten Personen, die Anzahl der Generationen, die Vorlage, das Format und die Rahmung legst du selbst fest. Es handelt sich damit um Waren, die nicht vorgefertigt sind und für deren Herstellung eine individuelle Auswahl oder Bestimmung durch dich maßgeblich ist.

Ein Widerrufsrecht besteht daher nicht (§ 312g Abs. 2 Nr. 1 BGB). Darauf weisen wir dich vor Abschluss der Bestellung ausdrücklich hin; du bestätigst diesen Hinweis beim Bestellabschluss.

Deine gesetzlichen Mängelrechte bleiben davon unberührt.

Ausnahme Geschenkgutscheine: Den Kauf eines Geschenkgutscheins kannst du als Verbraucher innerhalb von 14 Tagen ab Vertragsschluss ohne Angabe von Gründen widerrufen (Einzelheiten in Abschnitt 15 der AGB). Dazu genügt eine eindeutige Erklärung per E-Mail an hallo@rootsonprint.com. Du kannst dafür das folgende Muster-Widerrufsformular verwenden, musst es aber nicht:

Transportschäden und Druckfehler

Es gelten die gesetzlichen Mängelhaftungsrechte. Kommt dein Poster beschädigt oder mit Druckfehlern an, schick uns bitte Fotos vom Poster und von der Verpackung an hallo@rootsonprint.com. Wir drucken es dann kostenlos neu und schicken es dir zu. Gelingt der Neudruck nicht oder lehnen wir ihn ab, kannst du nach den gesetzlichen Vorschriften vom Vertrag zurücktreten oder den Preis mindern; weitere gesetzliche Rechte bleiben unberührt. Bitte bewahre die Verpackung auf, bis wir uns bei dir gemeldet haben. Eine Meldung innerhalb von 14 Tagen hilft uns bei der Regulierung mit dem Versanddienstleister, ist aber keine Voraussetzung für deine Rechte.
