Christmas order deadlines per country
· · RootsOnPrint · 3 min read
A family tree poster is printed after you order and then shipped. For it to arrive before Christmas 2026, each destination has a last order day. The table uses the slowest delivery time we promise (from payment, printing included) plus a buffer.
Order deadlines per country
| Destination | Unframed | Framed |
|---|---|---|
| Germany | order by 14 December · arrives by 21 December (3–5) | order by 11 December · arrives by 22 December (4–7) |
| United States | — (framed only) | order by 4 December · arrives by 22 December (7–12) |
| Switzerland | order by 9 December · arrives by 21 December (5–8) | order by 4 December · arrives by 22 December (7–12) |
| Canada | — (framed only) | order by 4 December · arrives by 22 December (7–12) |
| Australia | order by 4 December · arrives by 18 December (7–10) | order by 4 December · arrives by 22 December (7–12) |
| New Zealand | order by 4 December · arrives by 18 December (7–10) | order by 4 December · arrives by 22 December (7–12) |
Framed posters travel as a parcel from the framing workshop and take longer than a rolled poster, so their deadline is earlier. To the USA and Canada we currently ship framed A4 posters only.
What the dates mean
- “Order by” is the day of payment. A poster paid for on the evening of the last day goes to print on the next business day.
- “Arrives by” is the latest day the parcel arrives according to our delivery promise; it is usually earlier.
- Carrier holidays are part of the delivery times, weather and customs are not. To be safe, order a week before the deadline.
Missed it?
A gift voucher arrives by e-mail within minutes, with a card to print. The recipient then designs the poster and enters the code at checkout. All delivery times in detail are on the shipping page; which size suits which occasion is on family tree as a gift.
